Great success of the III DIT Gestión Convention held in Punta Umbría (Huelva)

More than 900 professionals from the tourism sector attended the 3rd DIT Gestión Convention, held this year in Punta Umbría (Huelva) from Thursday, November 11, to Sunday, November 14.

Representing Beroni at the event were Ingrid Graells, our Sales Director, and Pilar Lara, head of Beroni’s Support and Training Department.

Under the slogan “It’s time to see each other again,” more than 760 travel agencies and 140 suppliers gathered at the Barceló Punta Umbría Hotel to enjoy a few days marked by a great atmosphere and plenty of fun among the attendees.

DIT Gestión organized a series of recreational and professional activities for its attendees to foster a positive atmosphere and build connections between the group’s agencies and tourism service providers. From Thursday through Sunday, attendees were able to enjoy recreational activities such as excursions to various parts of the province and tastings of local culinary specialties, among other things.

On the professional side, attendees participated in a workshop where suppliers presented their latest offerings to the group’s agencies and exchanged ideas. Beroni was present at the workshop and introduced the agencies to our main product lines: Beroni management software, Wasabi-s booking engines, and the BGS and Enjoy Experience platforms, among others. The feedback was very positive; many agencies approached our table to inquire about the solutions we offer, and it was a pleasure to meet the agencies from DIT Gestión and provide them with solutions tailored to their needs.

A series of panel discussions and motivational talks were also held, addressing various topics such as the future of tourism and transportation and tourism, among others.

In addition, our Sales Director, Ingrid Graells, and Pilar Lara, head of the Support and Training Department, explained to attendees the benefits that the BGS: Sign Contract platform offers to travel agencies. The Sign Contract web platform allows agencies to create package tour contracts when the agency is the tour operator, generating a repository containing the entire contract history with status indicators (Signed, Expired, etc.) and enabling the storage of any other type of contract on the platform. It also allows for the digital signing of legal certificates using Signaturit.

Sign Contract is currently the only platform on the market that automatically generates package tour contracts, digitizing a process that is currently done manually. It facilitates two-way communication between the customer and the wholesaler for digital and biometric signatures, with the option to connect a tablet so the customer can sign in person at the agency… and all this with the benefits of cloud-based operations!

The 3rd DIT Gestión Convention came to a close with the presentation of the group’s Txapelas to the convention’s award recipients and tour operators—including Beroni—followed by a gala dinner featuring many surprises, gifts, and live music.
