Fitur 2022, the latest edition of the tourism fair, was held from Wednesday, January 19, through Sunday, January 23, at the IFEMA exhibition center in Madrid.
Representing Beroni at the trade show from Wednesday through Friday were our CEO, Josep Bellés; our Sales Director, Ingrid Graells; and Vicenç Quinquilla from the Support and Training Department.
Overall feedback on the International Tourism Fair has been more positive than previously anticipated. In this edition, marked by a focus on recovery, the event drew a larger-than-expected crowd and exceeded all expectations, with professional attendance doubling (81,193 attendees from 127 countries) compared to the 2021 edition. If we add to this the more than 30,000 people who attended as members of the public, we can be very optimistic about the sector’s recovery, as it works and innovates constantly to return to pre-pandemic levels and regain travelers’ confidence so they can travel again as they always have.
From booth 10F04, shared with ACAVE, we engaged with professionals who came to learn about our technological solutions and how they can adapt them to their needs and businesses, especially in light of the digital transformation currently underway in society and the tourism sector in particular. Beroni offers travel agencies and industry professionals technological solutions to adapt to this new situation brought about by the pandemic. Our management software, the Wasabi-s search engines, BGS Sign Contract, and custom website design and development were the solutions offered by Beroni that generated the most interest. Our team presented the full range of Beroni’s products to attendees, but most importantly, we were able to meet face-to-face with the agencies again and reconnect after so long.
