21st AVASA Convention in Sitges: Renewal is the Future.

On March 1, 2, and 3, the Beroni Informática team attended the 21st Avasa Convention, which was held in Sitges this year. The main theme of the convention was “Renewal is the Future,” where leading national experts shared insights on how to face the future through continuous renewal. It was a very informative event for all attendees, and we gained new insights that will help us renew ourselves.

On the first day of the convention, the major shareholders of the AVASA group met to review the situation, exchange ideas, and discuss proposals for improving management and adapting to the constant changes in the industry. At the end of the day, the director of CPTM presented an award to Luis Felipe Antoja, president of AVASA.

On the morning of March 2, the day’s agenda focused on AVASA BUSINESS. The day began with a meeting moderated by Elisabet Carbó, covering topics such as travel advisories. Representatives from the car rental sector discussed customer mobility and the new conditions facing the industry.

Next, Amadeus conducted an analysis comparing Avasa’s corporate travel agencies with agencies that have a higher volume of business; according to Amadeus, the results were very favorable for Avasa’s independent agencies.
In the afternoon, the convention continued with training sessions. The travel agencies showed great interest in the topics covered and demonstrated a strong commitment to ongoing training as a means of professional development.

The main topic covered during the training session was the tax invoicing system, its impact on the company’s own VAT, the deductibility of its clients’ expenses, and the company’s responsibilities.

On the last day of the convention, the workshop was held, and we were there to introduce ourselves to the clients and attendees. According to the organizers—and we can confirm this—it was a complete success. More than 600 people attended, and there were a total of 96 vendors.

Finally, I would like to thank the AVASA group for giving me the opportunity to attend the convention.
