On May 21, 2019, Beroni Informática was invited by the Center for Innovative Businesses (CEI Balaguer) of the Balaguer City Council to participate in the workshop “Best Practices of the ‘FEM OCUPACIÓ PER A JOVES’ Program” as a success story.

The event, aimed primarily at young people in the region, was attended by Beroni’s Deputy Director, Neus Profitós, and Lucian Mihai. During the event, Neus Profitós introduced the Beroni company to the young people and CEI staff in attendance and also discussed such interesting topics as:

• The importance of internships as a learning experience for the person participating in them.
• The importance of internships in getting to know people and their skills, so that companies can assess them; the importance of hiring young people to promote renewal and encourage youth employment; the qualities companies look for when hiring young people: commitment, dedication, a desire to learn, reliability…
• Companies' responsibility to motivate employees.

After Neus finished speaking, it was the turn of young Lucian Mihai, who shared his personal experience with the young people in attendance and thanked career counselor Rosa María Naves for her support throughout the program, as well as his on-the-job trainer, David Acuña. Thanks to their guidance, he has been able to grow both personally and professionally and continue working for the company.
