This morning, our Sales Director, Ingrid Graells, presented the latest innovations developed by Beroni —which are integrated into Wasabi-s: Secure Pay and View Experience.
Unlike previous editions, due to the extraordinary circumstances we are currently facing, ACAVe is holding its traditional Travel Market through a series of webinars in which associations and companies in the tourism sector showcase their latest offerings to attendees. These presentations took place on June 2, 4, and 9, and the session scheduled for June 11—which will serve as the closing event for this year’s edition—is still to come.
In short 8-minute presentations, the speakers explained the benefits of their products until, at 12:30 p.m., it was Beroni’s turn to present Secure Pay and View Experience:
Secure Pay is the new tool integrated into Wasabi-s that allows travel agencies to process payments from their customers in a 100% secure and simple manner, without needing to ask for their credit card information, while complying at all times with current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.
View Experience is Beroni’s new product that allows the 1,500 agencies connected to Wasabi-s to automatically include a promotional video of the destination in the hotel reservation and in the traveler’s quote.

Once again, with just one day remaining and despite the new format—imposed by the state of emergency we are currently experiencing—the ACAVe Travel Market is proving to be a resounding success. Participants are looking to the future with hope, and they all agree that now is the time to work hard to keep moving forward and revive the tourism sector, which is so vital to the country’s economy and so essential for the people and businesses that need to travel, whether for work or leisure.
Martí Sarrate, president of ACAVe, announced to participating suppliers that this Friday, the 12th, at 1:00 p.m., he will appear before the Congress of Deputies to advocate for the tourism sector and, specifically, travel agencies.
